Paper Presentation Guidelines

Please follow the official ISA MIDKON 2026 guidelines for Paper Presentation submission and presentation.

Submit Abstract

General Submission Eligibility

The abstract (not to exceed 250 words) shall contain the following headings:

  1. Title
  2. Introduction
  3. Methodology
  4. Results: One most relevant table/ image/graph/illustration
  5. Discussion
  6. Conclusion
  7. References (Two, most relevant)

Presentation Format (Oral Paper)

The presentation is usually a Microsoft PowerPoint file, adhering to a strict time and slide limit.

Aspect Guidelines
Total Time Allotted 6 minutes (4 minutes for presentation, 2 minutes for Q&A)
Format Microsoft PowerPoint only (no videos or animations are typically allowed).
Slide Count Minimum 5, Maximum 10 slides, excluding the title and reference slides.
Slide Ratio 16:9 (Widescreen) is the standard aspect ratio.
Content per Slide Maximum of 10 lines of text per slide to ensure readability

Standard Content Structure

Your presentation slides should strictly follow a scientific structure to maximize clarity within the time limit.

Section Recommended Slides & Content
1. Title Slide (1 slide): Title, Presenting Author's Name, Co-Authors, Affiliation/Institution, ISA Logo, and Institutional Logo.
2. Introduction (1 slide): Background, Need for the study, and Aims & Objectives (Clearly define your research question).
3. Methodology (2-3 slides): Type and design of the study, Ethical clearance/Trial registration (if applicable), Study location and population, Inclusion/Exclusion criteria, Sample size estimation, Interventions/Parameters studied, and Statistical analysis details.
4. Results (2-3 slides): Details of demographics, Presentation of Primary and Secondary outcome measures. Use suitable illustrations (tables, graphs, or flowcharts) to depict key findings. Do not repeat values already presented in tables/figures.
5. Discussion (2 slides): Inferences drawn from your results, comparison with previous literature, discussion of confounding variables, and Limitations of the study.
6. Conclusion (1 slide): Precise and focused conclusion that directly addresses the primary aim of the study. Do not include limitations or future scope here.
7. References (1 slide): Only pertinent and relevant references (usually maximum of 5
